Can better renderings change the way you work and communicate with your client?

I belive so, specially if your sketching skills are not great our maybe your portfolio is not quite ready. Maybe you want to create a different style for your design practice, good quality renderings can communicate this message, of course that you need to back it up after in the “real” world, but this work can be a first step to successfully convince your client the idea you for their garden, terrace etc.

Using textures from real materials, using real world furniture, vegetation that represent as close as possible the ones that you are going to suggest and when doing the 3D model in Sketchup include the house or an architectural reference so the client can visualize himself in the place, these are a few very important elements to create successful renderings.
