My choice of Garden Design software bundle and what is going to cost you!

So what is the software I use as a Garden Designer myself? Yes I do know AutoCAD, but I do not normally use it. My favourite software bundle is SketchUp + Lumion, with this two pieces of amazing programs you can create amazing projects quickly, exact and effective in terms of finish image quality and sale potential. Yes, the image, the quality of the rendering, is really important, for some of your clients is difficult to imagine their gardens from a 2d plan, being able to visualize materials, textures and colours in 3d is going to amaze them.

Yes, there is an investment, so what are the costs?

1st PC (with around €1.800 you can already have a pc desktop that is going to be able to handle the software like Lumion), check out my blog post about pc requirements here if you already have a good pc it may be that you only need to improve the graphics card!

2nd Software Sketchup pro + Lumion pro (I recommend the pro versions), $695,00 USD for SketchUp Pro + €2999,00 for Lumion Pro

3rd Online course Rendering Your Clients Dream Garden, to learn how to create amazing rendering images and animations with Lumion; €525,00 VIP edition, €275,00 normal edition the difference is that in the VIP edition I work with you for one year in your projects, helping you achieve amazing results for your clients. One on One consultations included.

4th If you don’t know the basics in SketchUp I have a new online course in pre-launch, SketchUp basics for Garden Designers, for only €75,00 until the 16th of September then is going to cost €125,00

By now you thinking if it’s worth it no?? You know the quality of the images you can achieve, the animations you can create it’s potentially a new sale argument that is going to differentiate your Garden Design or Landscaping practice from the rest of the competition, imagine being able to create 360º views of your clients future garden with the exact materials and plants you suggest and at different times of the day so he can see how shadows play during daylight! Imagine if you have a special project being able to use VR, virtual reality, to create an intense experience that will make the client buy your idea. Yes there is an investment but the potential in terms of marketing and taking your practice to another level completely surpass the initial costs.
